Kelley’s conjecture and preorthocompactness. (English) Zbl 0623.54012

The author’s abstract: “We show that an orthocompact Dieudonné complete almost 2-fully normal space need not be paracompact. Furthermore, we observe that an almost 2-fully normal space with a \(G_{\delta}\)-diagonal is countably paracompact.” There are many other results in the paper and an excellent historical background is given.
