The author proves certain new extensions of the Ostrowski integral inequality, and apply them in the theory of quadrature formulae. For applications he considers Gauss-Legendre, Chebyshev, Radon, Lobatto, as well as composite-quadrature rules. The exact formulae are too complicated to be stated here.
