Analysis of the parametric vibration stability of a pendulum under the different cases of perturbations. (Ukrainian. English summary) Zbl 1074.70555
Summary: The stability regions of the pendulum parametric oscillations under different perturbations are constructed. It is found that the first region of instability of a pendulum with time-varying length is considerable larger than the corresponding region for a pendulum with a vibrating suspension.
