Generalized dromions in the \((2+1)\)-dimensional long dispersive wave and scalar nonlinear Schrödinger equations. (English) Zbl 0953.35133

Summary: We derive the generalized localized solutions of the \((2+1)\)-dimensional long dispersive wave equation and the scalar nonlinear Schrödinger equations by suitably utilising the arbitrary functions present in the bilinearised linear equations.
