Nonsteady-state problem of the emission of acoustic waves by a cylindrical piezoelectric transducer near a planar boundary. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0916.76078

Int. Appl. Mech. 33, No. 12, 983-989 (1997); translation from Prikl. Mekh., Kiev 33, No. 12, 60-67 (1997).
The authors study nonstationary working regimes of the thin-walled cylindrical piezoconverter located near a plane boundary. It is assumed that the shell is immersed in and filled with a liquid. Solution of the corresponding boundary value problem is obtained under certain assumptions, and numerical results are discussed.
