Determination of the acceleration center of a rigid body in spatial motion. (English) Zbl 0924.70013

Summary: We present a closed-form solution for the location of the acceleration center of a rigid body subjected to spatial motion. Moreover, all the special cases are investigated by a systematic analysis of the conditions under which the closed-form solution cannot be computed. Finally, the results obtained here are compared with those previously published.
