Synthesis of positive real feedback systems: A simple derivation via Parrott’s theorem. (English) Zbl 0887.93053
Parrott’s theorem from functional analysis is applied in the context of a strongly positive real feedback synthesis problem. It allows to convert a Safonov bilinear matrix inequality into two linear matrix inequalities. This leads to a two-Riccati solution for positive real feedback synthesis.
