On a numerical solution of two-dimensional nonlinear Mitchison model. (English) Zbl 1397.65226

Authors’ abstract: For the construction of a numerical solution of a two-dimensional Mitchison nonlinear partial differential system, the variable direction difference scheme and the difference scheme corresponding to the average method are used. Practical realization of those algorithms and comparative analysis of the obtained results are carried out. Numerical experiments are in accordance with the theoretical findings. On the basis of experiments, the corresponding tables of data are given.
