On the location and nature of derivative blowups of solutions to certain nonlinear differential equations. (English) Zbl 1220.34007
Summary: We consider certain nonlinear differential equations with fixed singularities in the dependent variables which cause derivative blowup in the solution to the corresponding initial value problem. We are interested in the location and nature of derivative blowups. Some theorems and numerical examples are given.
