On the canonical solution of second-order differential equations with singularities and turning points. (English) Zbl 1194.34039
Summary: We study the properties of solutions of systems of differential equations having singularities and turning points. First, by a replacement, we transform the system to a Sturm-Liouville equation with singularities and study the asymptotic behavior of its solutions. Then, we transform the Sturm-Liouville equation with singularities to an equation with turning points and obtain the canonical solution.
