A two-dimensional flame tracking algorithm with application to type Ia supernova. (English) Zbl 1173.76035
Summary: We propose an interface tracking algorithm for reactive flows. This algorithm extends the front tracking for non-reactive gas interface to combustion front in two dimensions. As an important application, flame tracking simulations of type Ia supernova are presented.
