Alternative solution of a transient heat conduction in a circular plate with radiation. (English) Zbl 1142.35313
Summary: We analyze thermoelastic response of a circular plate subjected to thermal load with radiation type boundary conditions. The solution of transient heat conduction problem of a thin plate with arbitrary boundaries and initial condition is obtained by employing the integral transform technique in the form of infinite series. The alternative form suitable for detailed numerical computation under different boundary and initial conditions is also obtained by introducing the so-called pseudo-steady temperature function.
