Local regularization for \(n\)-dimensional integral equations with applications to image processing. (English) Zbl 1127.65096

A method of local regularization for the solution of \(n\)-dimensional integral equations with applications to image processing is considered. A theoretical analysis of the presented method is given. Also the proof that the regularized solutions converge to the true solution as the level of error in the perturbed data goes to zero. A numerical implementation is presented and numerical examples are given.
