Pseudospectral-finite difference method for three-dimensional vorticity equation with bilaterally periodic boundary conditions. (English) Zbl 0830.76064

Summary: A Fourier pseudospectral-finite difference scheme is proposed for three- dimensional vorticity equation with bilaterally periodic boundary conditions. The numerical solution possesses semi-discrete conservation. The generalized stability and convergence are analyzed.
