An approximation framework for equations in linear viscoelasticity with strongly singular kernels. (English) Zbl 0794.45005
The authors consider equations that arise in linear viscoelastic models. They present an approximation framework for these equations and using the Trotter-Kato theorem they prove a relevant convergence result. This paper extends previous results which don’t work for equations with strongly singular kernels.
