On box products of small ordinal spaces. (English) Zbl 0668.54006
The authors outline a proof of the following result: if there is a scale in \(^{\omega}\omega\) then for every ordinal \(\lambda\) the box product \(\square^{\omega}\) \((\lambda +1)\) is paracompact.
