Summary: We obtain sufficient conditions for a design to be robust against aberrations in the sense of G. E. P. Box and N. R. Draper [Biometrika 62, 347-352 (1975; Zbl 0312.62061)]. Block designs, row- column designs and fractional designs are considered. An alternative formulation of robustness is also presented.
