Estimates on the spectrum of Schrödinger operators with attractive boundary conditions. (English) Zbl 0711.35091
Die Arbeit enthält Resultate über das Spektrum des Laplaceschen \(\Delta\)-Operators im Halbraum \({\mathbb{R}}^ d_+\) unter der Randbedingung \(\partial u/\partial x_ d=Q(x)u\) auf \(x_ d=0.\)
Unter gewissen Annahmen läßt sich das Spektrum bereits mit Hilfe des Spektrums des Operators \((-\Delta -E)^{1/2}+Q\) in \(L^ 2({\mathbb{R}}^{d-1})\) erhalten, wobei \(E<0\) zu wählen ist. Über diesen Zusammenhang gewinnt man untere Schranken für das Spektrum. In zwei weiteren Abschnitten der Arbeit werden Abschätzungen für die Anzahl der Eigenwerte bzw. deren integrierte Dichte hergeleitet. Die Präsentation des Materials ist konzentriert gehalten, was durch Verweise auf andere einschlägige Literaturstellen möglich wird.
