Solutions for steady plane aligned electro-magneto-gasdynamics. (English) Zbl 0591.76191

The aim of this paper is to study steady electro-magneto-gasdynamic aligned flows when the charge density is not identically zero. In this study, we take general aligned flows so that \(\vec H=f\rho \vec V\), where f is an arbitrary function, and we take general equation of state for the gas. This work is carried out by employing a well established fluid- dynamical technique of establishing integrability conditions for scalar fields. R. Berker, H. Ozoklav and the first author used this approach for ordinary gasdynamics [e.g.: the first author, Int. J. Eng. Sci. 9, 611-620 (1971; Zbl 0219.76016)].
