Summary: Based on the analysis of uncertainty and randomness of precipitation sequences, this paper shows a method to establish a precipitation forecast model based on regression and time series analysis. Based on the separation of tendency, periodic components and randomness of precipitation sequences, the paper gives a way to calculate the model with a program based on Fortran MATLAB language. At last, the paper proves the practicability and feasibility of the method with a case study.
