Summary: The aim of this chapter is to show how Bratteli diagrams are used to study topological dynamical systems. We illustrate their wide range of applications through classical notions: invariant measures, entropy, expansivity, representation theorems, strong orbit equivalence, eigenvalues of the Koopman operator.
