The approximate reasoning of Bayesian networks appending interval probability. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1199.68416

Summary: Bayesian networks can be expanded to Bayesian Networks appending interval probability by using interval probability to replace the probability tables in Bayesian Networks. Canonical concept is good for interval probability computation, although, it has some disadvantages compared to the intuitive concept. For getting posterior probability, approximate reasoning (Gibbs sampling) is used. Then, an arithmetic analysis and experimental results of approximate reasoning are given. The method is proved to be feasible.
