The genetic code Boolean lattice. (English) Zbl 1079.92053
A new \(n\)-dimensional vector space of DNA sequences on the Galois field of 64-codons is proposed. In this vector space gene mutations can be considered as linear transformations. Various applications of this mathematical model pertaining to the genetic code are demonstrated.
