Summary: In this paper, if a simple step-stress accelerated life testing is performed on the Weibull population of units and the accelerated equation is the inverse power law, this model is called the power-Weibull model. We give the point and interval estimates of the parameters of the power-Weibull model and of the accelerated coefficient. Furthermore, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of the estimates of these parameters.
