Modular curves and Fermat’s theorem. (Czech) Zbl 0813.11016
This is a survey article on the link between the Taniyama conjecture and Fermat’s last theorem. It summarizes what was known in September 1993 (when the article was written) about Wiles’s announcement of a proof of Fermat’s last theorem.
