The instability of a differential equation with odd order. (English) Zbl 1087.34529
Sufficient conditions for the instability of the null solution of an \(n\)th-order nonlinear ODE (where \(n\) is odd) are formulated on the basis of the well-known Krasovskii’s criterion for instability (see [N. N. Krasovskii, Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSSR, 101, 17-20 (1955; Zbl 0064.34001)]).
