Numerical methods for hyperbolic differential functional problems. (English) Zbl 1158.65057

The article is devoted to initial boundary value problems for quasilinear first-order partial differential functional systems. The author constructs a general class of difference methods and presents theorems on error estimate of the approximate solutions for difference functional systems. The convergence is proved by means of consistency and stability arguments. A numerical experiment is presented.
