On the principle of randomization of fixed points for set-valued mappings with applications. (English) Zbl 0766.54047
The author shows a randomizing theorem of fixed points for set-valued mappings. As an application he uses this result to obtain a random fixed point theorem for set-valued nonexpansive random mappings and to obtain a probabilistic analogue of set-valued Caristi’s fixed point theorem. These theorems improve and extend some results of N. S. Papageorgiou.
