Summary: The reliability synthesis of a system of engineering tools for distributed automatic control systems is investigated as an optimal redundancy problem. A method aimed at searching for a set of quasioptimal solutions is proposed for it. The method combines the idea of selective choice and the heuristics of greedy algorithms.
