On the affine Weyl group of type \(B_ n\). (English) Zbl 0790.20048
Summary: We show that the affine Weyl group of type \(B_ n\) is the natural wreath product of the group \(Z_ 2\) by the symmetric group of degree \(n\), \(S_ n\). We also show that the centre of \(B_ n\) is \(Z_ 2\).
