The rug is by @annieselke and I used 3 eight foot long runners to complete my stairs. Apparently it bothers some people that I cut corners and painted only the part of the treads that would be visible, but I still don’t regret saving the time! Nobody will ever see the pine in the middle, unless they’re redecorating! I used a pneumatic finish stapler, a 1/4” rug pad on each tread, secured with double sided carpet tape, and the stair rods were an Etsy find.
