Mahomes, Kelce’s homes burglarized last month, according to police reports

KANSAS CITY, Mo. ��� The homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were burglarized in October in close proximity to a Monday Night Football game, FOX4 has confirmed.

According to two police reports, authorities responded to the incidents the day before and the day after the team’s game against the New Orleans Saints.

Mahomes lives in Cass County in a gated community. Visitors must pass through two gates to get into the neighborhood.

FOX4 has confirmed with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office that a burglary report was taken at Mahomes’ residence near Belton during the early morning hours of Sunday, Oct. 6.

The police report indicates a bodyguard had called about the incident.

As for Kelce, he lives about 20 minutes north in a Leawood, Kansas community.

An online report from Leawood police on Tuesday, Oct. 8 indicates a burglary occurred at an address matching Kelce’s home.

Police listed that Kelce’s back door was damaged and $20,000 in cash was stolen.

After the game on Oct. 7, Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, stayed at a downtown hotel.

It is unknown at this time if anything was taken from the Mahomes’ residence.

TMZ reports that its sources believe the burglaries may be part of a larger crime spree.

The FBI is assisting in the investigation, according to TMZ.
