Taylor Swift Politely Corrects Security Request at Travis Kelce's Game

Taylor Swift always keeps her side of the street clean.
Even when supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce during the Nov. 10 Kansas City Chiefs game in Missouri, the “Karma” singer made sure she wasn’t so clever that she forgot to be kind.
As Taylor made her way through the stadium wearing a tweed red and black houndstooth skirt suit alongside her parents Andrea Swift and Scott Swift, her security yelled at photographers, “Guys stay back.”
But Taylor quickly shook off the aggressive demand, adding, “Stay back, please.”
And while Taylor’s delicate boundary setting was a noteworthy moment from her afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium, the 14-time Grammy winner also saw Travis, along with other teammates like Patrick Mahomes best the Denver Broncos with a score of 14 to 16.
In fact, Taylor’s guy on the Chiefs scored his team’s only touchdown of the game—prompting lots of celebration from Taylor and her mom in the family’s suite.

Taylor’s day supporting Travis comes shortly after she wrapped up the United States leg of The Eras Tour in Indianapolis. And naturally, Travis made sure he was one of the 70,000 faces that Taylor saw in the crowd.
“I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up and I’ll tell you what man, the American crowds—they did not disappoint,” Travis gushed to brother Jason Kelce during a Nov. 6 episode of New Heights. “I heard that it was a lot more rowdy this time around, knowing she was coming back to stop through America one last time before the tour was over with, and I’ll tell you what man that thing was rockin.’”
Indeed, Travis has seen Taylor rock out on The Eras Tour stage over a dozen times. Meanwhile, Taylor’s latest support of Travis playing ball comes almost exactly a year after she first lauded him as “Karma” during a show in Argentina last year.
In her show’s finale, it has now become one of Taylor’s signature moves to change lyrics of her song “Karma” from “karma is the guy on the screen” to “karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”
But the first time during her Argentina show on Nov. 11, 2023, was a jaw-dropping moment for everyone—including Travis.
“Might have had a little bit of a clue, but when I heard it come out of her mouth, it still shocked me,” Travis effused during a Nov. 2023 episode of New Heights. “I was like ‘Oh, she really just said that, alright.’”
