Emily Maynard Shares Photo of Son Gatlin's $60 Birthday Cake Fail as She Affirms 'My Children Did Not Decorate This'
The former 'Bachelorette' posted a picture of the bungled cookie cake on her Instagram Stories
Emily Maynard Johnson's son may not be getting the cake of his dreams for his birthday this year.
On Tuesday, Nov. 12, the former Bachelorette, 38, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories as she celebrated her son Gatlin's birthday. Maynard Johnson posted a photo of his birthday cookie cake, which was decorated a bit messily.
The cookie cake has the words "Happy Birthday Gatlin" written across it, with gummy bears outlining the word "Happy." There's also frosting around the rim of the cake, with more gummy bears and M&Ms sprinkled across the surface.
"Happy 7th Birthday Gatlin!" Maynard Johnson wrote across the cake. "My children did not decorate this. I actually paid $60 for an adult to make this 🙃."

"Hoping he never sees pictures of this cake when he gets older and has a distorted view of his childhood 💀," she joked.
Maynard Johnson shares her daughter Ricki, 19, with late fiancé Ricky Hendrick. She is also mom to kids Ricki, Jennings, 8½, Gibson, 6, Gatlin, 7, Nola Belle, 3 and Jones, 2, whom she shares with husband Tyler Johnson.
This past June, Maynard Johnson shared an adorable series of photos on her Instagram of her son, Jones, and her daughter, Nola. The two siblings were seen smiling, with Nola draping an arm around her brother.
In other photos, the two hugged each other and played together as their proud mom snapped their picture. "First day of camp for my jones," Maynard Johnson wrote in her caption.
In May, the mom of six shared a couple of sweet photos of Gibson cuddling with Jones as the two wore matching pink Lionel Messi soccer jerseys. Sitting on the floor and wearing black socks, Gibson had his arms around his brother, who smiled up at the camera.
"Is anyone else’s kid constantly asking every stranger, 'Ronaldo or Messi?' " Maynard Johnson jokingly asked in the caption.
