I took away the review entry. It didn't say anything about the movie, it only contained some thoughts of Roger Ebert.

I personally think this is a waste. It should just point out the inconsistencies between the film and the actual historical events. However, I won't erase it, unless someone agrees with me or nobody really cares about this section. --Surten (talk) 21:03, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Surten[reply]

I think it should be deleted. It's stupid. Trying to fit a fictional story into real world timeline, no matter how you approach it, it OBVIOUSLY will never work. Also, I just saw the movie, and for crying out loud, its a COMEDY - there's no attempt to relate to the real world, except for jokes about other presidents.. who is narrow-minded enough to even TRY and link it to the real world? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.107.24.213 (talk) 20:41, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the 'Quotes' section of this article. Wikipedia isn't intended to collect witty quotations. Wikiquote might be a more appropriate place for a list of quotations such as these, and can be linked to from the article. If there is indeed some particular quotation (or more than one, but not very many) that is very well known, it may be worth including in the article proper--the synopsis might conceivably be enhanced by inclusion of a select few quotations from the film.

I do recommend against simply reverting my edit and reproducing the 'Quotes' section in full, though--besides being a pretty clear failure to abide by our non-free content criteria, they don't really add anything to the article as lone quotations, out of context. Remember that our goal is to provide an informative encyclopedia, not a list of clever turns of phrase. --Sopoforic (talk) 22:53, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
