A Whole New Sound is a cover album of twelve Disney songs, covered by alternative rock and pop punk artists.[1] The album was digitally released by Walt Disney Records on September 6, 2024, and set to be released on vinyl formats on October 4.[2]

Simple Plan's cover of Elton John's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" was the first single from the album released to coincide with the 30th anniversary of The Lion King.[3]
