Edmonds often said the happiest times in his career were the years he photographed the people and sights of Hawaii during his days with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. Edmonds moved on to cover major world events, but he felt his images during his stay in Hawaii had more immediate impact as he chronicled the lives and problems of everyday families in Hawaii, and oftentimes the images brought immediate results. |
