I was in Jakarta for a few days on a work trip. This was a great option to get outside of the city and see other parts of Indonesia. Vincent, the guide, was very friendly and personable.

The guide (Bryan) had a wonderful personality and he was extremely knowledgeable!! The tour was very interesting and quite comprehensive.

Oue guide Mitchel took us around and was knowledge and fun. He adjusted to our desires. He fed us delicious pancakes and showed us the highlights of Jackarta at night, avoiding the crowds He even gave us suggestions for our other ports of call.

Amazing time. Our guide Vincent and our driver Toto were two amazing people who really knew their stuff. The food was amazing, so was the fruit - the volcano being the highlight, but far from the only attraction. Highly recommended!

A great day trip with no time wasted. An awesome opportunity to learn new things about Indonesia’s unique fruits and rice fields. The Volcano and hot springs were also a big suprise and was worth the experience. This a fantastic day tour from Jakarta City. The day is long, around 12 or 13 hours, but certainly worth the drive! Our tour for the day, Vincent, and the driver, Toto, get a 5-out-of-5-star review from us!! Great job done by both. We experienced roadside fruit markets, picturesque rice terraces, a local coffee production, serene tea fields, hot springs and a delicious and filling lunch. But the highlight for us was being up-close to an active volcano with the ability to see, hear, and smell the power anc awesomeness of this wonderful natural feature!

I wish we’d had more time to explore all of the homes and museums. One favourite was the fresh water aquarium to see the large tropical fish. Once inside, open buses provide transportation within this very large site. We walked along wide sidewalks as the transportation was sometimes full when it reached our stop.

Great full day tour experience with Rizky! He was wonderful to hang out with and we felt comfortable around the city with him going into areas we wouldn't have known about! His English was fantastic and he gave us plenty of time and space to adventure too.

The trip was overall well planned and very enjoyable. Rizky, our tour guide, was amazing! He made sure everybody had a great experience on the tour! The views were beautiful on the road as well, between the different stops. The first one was at a fruit stall, to try some local fruits (snake fruit, dragon fruit, and yellow watermelon were available), then headed to the rice fields/rice drying and prepping workshop- which are conveniently by the road so not much walking (better have comfy shoes though). The third stop was lunch in a local restaurant (rather big, with buses of local tourists stopping there too for lunch), then the luwak coffee place as it started raining and our guide, Rizky, made the smart decision to change up the schedule so we got to the volcano crater later, when the sky cleared up. The views up the crater were quite unique. We stopped by some tea plantations on the way to the last activity spot - the hot springs, where you can enjoy a dip in different hot water pools. Many local tourists there as well - we had lovely wholesome interactions with some of them which made the trip even more interesting (Plan to wear a more conservative outfit, rather than a swimsuit, like a t-shirt/shorts for example), as locals dip in entirely clothed in the water pools. Finally we had a quick snack stop to try honey pineapples before heading back to Jakarta. I would definitely recommend this tour!

We took the night trip with Ekaputra Tours and were looked after by our guide Bryan and driver Andy. The evening was a good choice in the Jakarta heat. Bryan took the time to ask us where we had already been and modified our evening adventure to incorporate new sights. We attended the library to view the Monument from the viewing area, we ate delicious street food, visited the domestic port and then walked along the promenade in PIK which was a very different view of Jakarta. Bryan was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Andy kept us safe and cool. We had a wonderful evening and saw a lot of the city.

It was an amazing experience, met some really nice people who had a great vibe, Nanda is probably the best tour guide I've ever had, her bubbly personality made the the tour that much better.

Great places to visit to make your visit to Jakarta memorable. Our guide, Bryan, and the driver were an excellent team. They are such an easygoing and very pleasant to be with. The trip was very informative, and we felt safe the entire time. The restaurant they took us also a part of experience you can't miss. Thank you!!

Best tour ever! We were picked up at our hotel which was outside of the city of Jakarta for a small fee. We were greeted by our guide, Rizkey and our driver, Mr. Mami. They were both very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We picked up another tour guest in Jakarta, and then our adventure began. We traveled well outside of the city and our first stop was the active volcano. It was quite a ride up the mountain. The volcano no longer has active lava, but is filled with super heated ash that bubbles up and steams. Amazing. Our next stop was the tea plantations that are run by the government. We learned quite a bit of knowledge about them from Rizkey and Mr. Mami, including the celebrations the locals use them for. Next stop was a rice field located across from a beautiful temple. The field was green and lush and we got to watch workers gathering rice. You have to walk, but off to the side were some stepped fields that I took some amazing pictures of. After the rice fields, we went to a local pineapple grocer. We got to try all kinds of local fruit. My favorite was the Snake Fruit. It has a skin just like a snake. It is sweet, but not overly so. After this we went to lunch at a wonderful Indonesian restaurant. The table were were sat at were boats set into the floor surrounded by Koi filled waters. The food was incredible and I ate too much, but so worth it. After lunch, Rizkey asked if we wanted to see where they made the Kopi coffee. We said yes and off we went. I am sure Mr. Rizkey and Mr Mami were ready to go home and have dinner with their families by then, but you would never have known it. This was something special that is not listed in the tour. Afterwards, we headed home. We hit some construction and got back later than listed on the tour. And none of us cared. We had had such a great time! My recommendation is to not make plans on the same day as this trip. Traffic is unpredictable. I saw some negative reviews based on the driving, For anyone who has not driven in Indonesia, it is not like driving in the UK, USA or Canada, Our rules do not apply here. The best scenario I can come up with is the NASCAR Indy 500. Imagine 50 cars, all bumper to bumper, and all competing for the top spot. Then throw in bunch of side streets, and about 15 sscotters per car. In my humble opinion, Mr. Mami is the Dale Earnhardt of the Indonesian highway. Neither my husband, myself or our companions felt unsafe or nervous during the drive. Please book this and tip the tour guide and driver well. I know both paid out of pocket for some of the stuff we tried on our trip. I thank both of them for such a wonderful experience in Jakarta. To the management company for this trip. You need to increase their pay and bonuses, These two are top notch and you need to keep them! If Rizkey wasn't sure about the area, Mr, Mami knew, What a great pair. Thank you and we would book again if these two are our guides!
