Sure, Fortnite has hundreds of crossover skins for players to use, ranging from Solid Snake to Billie Eilish – however, some of its original creations are just as popular. Take the Fortnite Peely skins, for example. Our favorite human-sized banana debuted in Fortnite way back in Chapter 1 Season 8 and has gone on to appear in major story events, hanging out with other classic characters like Jonesy.
With so many creative ways to crossover with other games, movies, and TV shows, Fortnite’s barrage of new skins never feels tired. It’s one of the main reasons why it continues to be one of the best battle royale games all these years later. However, it can be hard to track of all the new characters that get added to the game. Peely has many skins in Fortnite, but you might not know how to acquire them all. Here, we go over all the Peely skins Fortnite has added, plus details on if you can still get them in-game.
All Fortnite Peely skins and how to get them
Right now, there are 14 different Fortnite Peely skins from various eras of the battle royale game, and they are:
- Peely
- P-1000
- Peely Bone
- Agent Peely
- Unpeely
- Potassius Peels
- P33LY
- Polar Peely
- Toon Peely
- KAWSPEELY
- Lil Split
- Adventure Peely
- Cobb
- Peelosopher Bananocrates
Below you can find full details on each Peely skin and if they are still available to earn or purchase in Fortnite.
1. Peely
First seen in the Chapter 1 Season 8 Battle Pass, the standard Peely is no longer available to unlock. While new Peely skins like the ones listed in this guide appear semi-frequently, it’s highly unlikely that the original Peely will ever make its way back into the Fortnite store or a battle pass.
2. P-1000
The P-1000 is a variant of Peely that was made by Jonesy in a bunker after he turned the original Peely into a smoothie, and was originally unlocked by purchasing the P-1000 Challenge Pack during Fortnite Season X. The P-1000 skin made a brief return to the Fortnite store for a few weeks across September and October 2023, but is currently unobtainable.
3. Peely Bone
Peely Bone is a half-skeleton, half-banana version of the iconic character that can appear in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. Due to his Halloween-inspired aesthetic, he usually returns to the shop when the Fortnite Halloween event, Fortnitemares, is happening.
4. Agent Peely
Agent Peely has got a “licence to peel,” and this spy-themed take on Peely has four different skin variants. He was available to unlock at the first tier of the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass, but has not been available to unlock or buy in Fortnite since the end of that season.
5. Unpeely
Unpeely is a variant of Peely without his peel – which you probably could’ve guessed from the name alone! He is part of the Summer Legends Pack, which is a real-money pack that returns every summer.
6. Potassius Peels
Known originally by the community as Peelius Caesar, Potassius Peels is a Roman-inspired version of the iconic banana that can be bought for 1,200 V-Bucks in the Item Shop. Potassius Peels is a Rare-tier skin that actually appears in the store very regularly. At the time of writing, his last store appearance was in April 2024.
7. P33LY
P33LY is a futuristic variant of Peely that is tech-focused, sporting an all-black suit with yellow electronic eyes. He can be unlocked by purchasing the Tech Future Pack, a real-money bundle that can appear in the Item Shop for $17.99 / £15.99. However, this pack and P33LY haven’t been seen in the store since May 2023.
8. Polar Peely
Is it just us, or is it getting cold in here? More likely, it’s the Frozen Series version of Peely, Polar Peely, that many players got for free during the Winterfest 2021 event. Since it was a free event skin, it is unlikely this frozen banana will return in the future, so if you’ve got this one tucked away in your locker, don’t forget to bring him out and flex him every now and again.
9. Toon Peely
Winning matches is all about staying in ‘toon’ with your instincts, and the Toon Peely skin will help you do that. Inspired by old cartoons, Toon Peely is available as part of the Inkville Gang Pack for 2,300 V-Bucks, when it appears in the Item Shop. The last time we saw Toon Peely in the Item Shop was July 2024.
10. KAWSPEELY
KAWSPEELY is a collaboration between Epic Games and designer KAWS, who’s renowned for his distinctive style across a range of mediums. KAWSPEELY was introduced in Chapter 3 Season 3, and he is available for 1,200 V-Bucks whenever he appears in the Item Shop. However, the last time that happened was October 2023.
11. Lil Split
Lil Split is actually the fusion of two very popular and recognizable Fortnite characters – Peely and Lil Whip. This skin was introduced in Chapter 4’s OG throwback season that took place towards the end of 2023, and was part of the seasonal battle pass. Sadly, since the end of Season OG, there’s not been another method to get Lil Split.
12. Adventure Peely
For those that love thrilling journeys and expeditions, here’s the Peely skin for you. Adventure Peely was introduced in Chapter 5 Season 1 as a purchasable skin from the Item Shop, costing 1,200 V-Bucks. He will occasionally come back to the Item Shop, and was last spotted there in June 2024.
13. Cobb
Sure, this skin is cheating a little bit when it comes to Peely’s banana visage, but this is a Peely skin nonetheless. Cobb is definitely one of the more cursed Fortnite skins out there, but hey, sometimes you’ve got to get your corn on. This skin is of the Rare variety in Fortnite, meaning it doesn’t come to item shop too often. When he does return, Cobb usually costs around 1,200 V-Bucks. This skin was last seen in the store in October 2023.
14. Peelosopher Bananocrates
Calling back the opulence of ancient Rome, Peelosopher Bananocrates (trying to say that ten times really fast) is one of the best Peely skins of the bunch – at least we think so. Gracing the battlefield with a touch of intelligence, sophistication, and a great big bushy beard, you can get your hands on Peelosopher Bananocrates next time his enters the item shop. Just make you have 1,200 V-Bucks to hand. At the time of writing, he is the most recently-released new Peely skin, and debuted in Fortnite in April 2024.
So, there you have it. That’s every single Fortnite Peely skin that’s been added to the game so far. While the original Fortnite Peely skin may never return, some of these awesome variants are always rotating in and out of the item-shop, so keep your eyes…peeled.
