Guidelines for Business Partners
Our Guidelines for Business Partners seek to ensure that our partners uphold Strava’s values and efforts to build an inclusive community for our athletes and our business. Our partners include challenge and event partners, suppliers, vendors, and anyone who does business with Strava. We expect all of our partners to uphold these guidelines which embody Strava’s core values - our ABCs.
Principles
Follow the Law
Partners will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies of the countries of their operation and if those laws differ from the laws of the US, then Partners will comply with all federal US and state laws of California.
Labor and Slavery
Partners will provide a fair and ethical workplace free from all forms of forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, and slavery including complying with the UK Modern Slavery Act.
Anti-racism
We expect partners to join us in striving to become anti-racist organizations by actively seeking to dismantle and eradicate racism. Check out Strava's anti-racism commitment for more information.
Discrimination
Partners will not discriminate against any individual based on race, ethnicity, age, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, serious disease, disability, body type, or immigration status.
Health and Safety
Partners will provide a safe and healthy workplace.
Workplace Inclusivity
Partners will promote an inclusive workplace, free from harassment and abuse.
Wages and Working Hours
Partners will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies with respect to wages, benefits, and working hours and conditions.
Environmental Awareness
Partners will comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
Business Conduct
Partners will conduct business with transparency, honesty, and integrity, including keeping accurate business records available to Strava upon request.
Conflicts of Interest
Partners will report and fully disclose all conflicts of interest as soon as they arise.
Trade Compliance
Partners will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies of the United States, and where there is no conflict, the countries of their operation, regarding trade and sanctions controls. This includes those restricting business with an entity in a location subject to economic or trade sanctions or on a U.S. government sanctions list, including the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) list.
Anti-Bribery
Partners will not offer, provide, request, or accept bribes, gifts or similar benefits that violate applicable laws, regulations and policies. Partners will conduct their business in compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Noncompliance with Guidelines
Partners must promptly report violations, suspected violations, and non compliance with these Guidelines.
