In 2022, the Indian video streaming platform MX Player had the highest number of monthly active users (MAUs), amounting to 176 million on average. It was a slight increase from the previous year. It was followed by Disney+ Hotstar also with over 100 million MAUs, having witnessed the most growth among the surveyed platforms in its user base since 2021.
