River landscape

The Slate River in Crested Butte, Colorado is beautiful. During this evening hike, I was struck by the trees framing the mountain and river, while the setting sun was just starting to color the clouds. Altogether it makes for a beautiful and restful landscape photography print!

I was taken by this location while hiking along the Slate River near Crested Butte Colorado and thought it would make a great landscape photo. I love the weathered stumps interspersed with wildflowers, and the lazy river leading the eye to Crested Butte Mountain gently reflecting the evening glow in the western sky.
