Indian Summer
My newly decorated bedroom idea inspired by folk designs from different destinations! I love hand painted patterns on walls seen in so many cultures. In Poland it used to be a popular way of decorating one’s home before wallpaper was even available or possibly too expensive for many people. We see painted walls in Sweden, India and probably most countries in the World. I was craving a bright happy room to brake this wintery grey. I hope this bedroom makes you smile and inspires you.

I always loved designing bedrooms because they are our oases where you can hide at the end of the day with good books and thoughts. The headboard was made in my Naya fabric. It matches the wallpaper and curtain. I only used two colours (plus the lighter shade of green for the lampshade) and only three patterns. I wanted to achieve a bedroom that is serene but with a bit of texture. Layering just a few patterns and colours did the trick. 💓💚💓 #bedroominspo #bedroomdecor #bedroomideasforkids

Autumnal Room
I loved creating this almost monochromatic sitting room using some lush interlined curtains, and making it cosy by using wallpaper and different patterns and textures. Big rooms, especially in draughty old country homes can feel cold and empty. Adding a wallpaper and lots of different layers of interest can really change that feel. It doesn’t need to be cluttered with stuff. Just adding some interesting objects like paintings or vases can do a trick. #curtains #wallpaper #greenfabric #stool
Traveler's Bedroom
This little traveler’s bedroom shows some bold patterns from my fabric collections combined with some more delicate patterns. I do like to mix weaves and prints together and not to care too much about everything being the same shade. I like to surround myself with objects that bring some great memories. I used to collect National Geographic and this little shelve contains around 120 issues! Although all these fabrics are inspired by different cultures, they all work great together. #fabic

This master bedroom is painted with Farrow & Ball colour Railings, a dark blue black colour on the walls and contrasting golds of my India and Hungarica fabric as soft furnishings. This guest bedroom was created using different shades of pink. I love the old, washed out, faded pinks. They carry some kind of nostalgia of fallen rose's petals or old ballet shoes. Medallions fabric in Cerise used to upholster the old French bed and Tribes in Earth colourway as the bed cover.
