Macintosh computer

in 1984 Apple launched the Macintosh computer. Its debut was announced in a TV commercial during the 3rd quarter of Super Bowl XVIII on Jan. 22, 1984. The commercial was based on George Orwell's novel "1984" & was directed by Ridley Scott. The commercial was considered a masterpiece & is now hailed as a watershed event for Apple's success. The PC was the first to be sold w/o a programming language and cost over $3,000. This is the first computer I remember.
