The more I played of it, the less I could deny how expertly made it is in every aspect. It's an all-around fantastic portable game that's completely worth playing, whether you enjoy it in bite-size chunks or plow straight through it from start to finish.
With Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, AlphaDream and Nintendo have given us the best handheld Mario RPG to date.

The best of the best in RPGs of this genre. Super easy for anyone to grasp with fun levels and fun worlds. It has an amazing soundtrack especially for a DS game. The ability to play as Bowser as well is such a unique twist. This game has so much replay value just purely from the unique experience alone and the extras they have included in the game. This is a must have for DS owners.

It’s a game made of moments. Above all it is an intelligent adaptation to Mario’s World, making the possibility of controlling Bowser not a prop but something unique and extraordinary.
Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story is a wonderful new adventure that takes new directions while also maintaining the foundations set by its predecessors. There are a few minor hiccups here and there, but otherwise it should not be missed by any Mario or RPG fan.
Fans who loved the first two games shouldn't hesitate in picking up Bowser's Inside Story. It features everything that makes the series enjoyable and adds onto it everything but the kitchen sink. Despite a few minor flaws, it's a game that features an ingenious game design synonymous with Nintendo games and is easily one of the best DS games of the year.
It is, however, a title with lots of variety, plenty of great dialogue, and rock-solid mechanics that any gamer can understand and enjoy.
The concept of Marios action rpg Paper Mario/Mario & Luigi are known to be good. The latest title takes place inside Bowser's body and, of course, makes it a bit different from the earlier games. But it's a fun twist of both story and gameplay, and with all the qualities in the game it makes Bowser's Inside Story one of the best games for the DS 2009.
Peak rpg the levels, battles, music, bosses, and story are incredible and it is one of the most hilarious games I've played with the best final boss theme ever

Very similar to its predecessor Partners in time but with added 2D levels and the chance to play as Bowser. A solid little arcade adventure and slightly better than the first game.
