I've dusted off the #PemberLittens Facebook Group to share a video of #JaneAustenThenAndNow Book Club https://www.facebook.com/share/19WBUhK2kj/
Also on Threads. https://bit.ly/3AkVnvQ
And Instagram. https://bit.ly/3Yzu8pq
Instagram is fun because my dear friend Claire from 🇬🇧 https://bit.ly/4eihalH joins in there with some amazing posts. Her mum made my Jane doll on the shelf behind me.
Hoping my bookshop/library friends can help me!
I have been collecting Paper Mill Press editions of classics and have made a very preventable mistake. I didn't check before starting and now I am unsure if they have made literally all but one of Austen's completed novels?
I have been searching and googling for this collections Mansfield Park and am not finding it anywhere? They are soft leather bound editions.
If anyone could find the ISBN...👇
December 16, 2025 is 250 Anniversary of Jane Austen's Birth. I wanted to do something special for #JaneAdjacent Book Club.
Thought to harken back to beginnings of Pemberlittens when @sprainedbrain brought us together to read Jane Austen.
One month will read Original. Next you choose a retelling, graphic novel, or watch a movie. Tag @Crinoline_Laphroaig #PemberLittens #JaneAustenThenAndNow so we can find your posts.
I'm so excited for this!

Pemberlittens It's time for #JaneAdjacent. My answers:
1️⃣ First read. Print copy. First Impression - overly wordy. Everything is described in great detail. As member of Fictional Hangover https://www.fictionalhangover.com/ Vampire Book Club, I've read quite a few Vampire books. This is by far one of the worst.

It's been a crazy busy month. But this week is supposedly quiet. Starting Mr Darcy, Vampyre by Amanda Grange today. Should have discussion post up October 30th as planned. 🧛🏻♂️

Six friends, acquaintances, and strangers gather to discuss Austen‘s collective works while navigating their own messy lives.
I don‘t say this often, but the movie was much better. The book bounced around from so many POVs and timelines that it got confusing at times. There was also a lot of time spent on the characters‘ childhoods that didn‘t seem to matter to the plot.
