👾 32 hours — 28 people — 7 projects Last Thursday and Friday, we held our very first hackathon at Luigi's Box. We focused on topics that will improve our services, mainly for existing and new customers. On topics that we were able to build into a working MVP within 32 hours. I was amazed by how creative people can be when they focus on a single project. Without any disturbance from other colleagues, no emails to answer, no slack messages, and no calls. Just focus with a group of people on the same topic. It reminded me of the moments in the early beginnings of Luigi's Box, when we were working days and nights, iterating our ideas and building the MVP. It was definitely not the last hackathon. #creativity #teamwork #focus #hackathon

Excited to share that we just wrapped up our 2nd successful hackathon 🚀 at David Yurman! Last week, within just a couple days, six talented tech teams came together to innovate, collaborate, and tackle business and automation challenges head-on. It was inspiring to witness such creativity and passion as participants developed innovative solutions to address for business needs. A huge thank you to everyone involved – judges, mentors, and especially the participants - your dedication and teamwork truly made this event a success! 🤝 Looking forward to seeing how these ideas evolve and contribute to our mission at DY. All the six projects were judged based on a diverse criteria. All projects were so good that there was a grid-lock for '1st Place'. Quoting the judges ‘there is no clear winner!' A testament to the teams and their innovative solutions. Eventually it was decided to award one team for ‘Most Innovative’ solution and another team for tackling the ‘Business problem with (potentially) most ROI’. Stay tuned for more updates on the incredible projects born from this hackathon! #Hackathon #Innovation #Teamwork #Success #Collaboration #YDY.

#H17 My definition of hackathon - With idea you dont have, with people you dont know, with tools you have not worked with: SHIP USEFUL THING FAST! Love the whiteboard ideation exercise: - find a problem that is excited, matters and feasible during hackathon. - map problem to a creative solution. - distribute sub-solutions based on team members skillset. - execute & iterate. #hackpro_sako

Sometimes, the pressure of a looming deadline brings out the best in you. Last night, our team had to submit our hackathon entry by midnight, but we couldn’t even get started until 8 PM due to a series of unexpected setbacks. That left us with just 4 hours to pull everything together. But instead of panicking, we focused, collaborated, and gave it our all. By the night's end, we had successfully crafted a solid prototype for our product—something we're genuinely proud of! It shows that when you're up against the clock, you can still create something amazing with the right teamwork and determination. Akash Sinha Anchal Dubey Anirudh D.
