3 key phases to Founder-led GTM 👇 1) Founder-led Denial (they think they can outsource GTM and hire that Fractional CMO that can't get a real CMO job) 2) Founder-led GTM (they embrace Founder-led GTM and momentum starts building) 3) Founder-leveraged GTM (they start recruiting and hiring folks to take parts of it over) The Founder-led Denial phase is where so many companies go to die. They stay stuck in that one more feature trap. They keep tinkering away thinking that this next great iteration is the thing that's going to go boom. The Founder-led GTM phase on the other hand is the most magical. You optimize for closing deals, you optimize for customer conversations, and you really hone in on your message. This in turns builds real momentum both internally and externally, and this unlocks actual revenue growth. And the best part of this phase? It brings so much clarity, you actually start to build great features that matter. By the time Founder-leveraged GTM comes around, I've seen Founders start loving GTM so much, they have trouble letting go. But this is where the fun and true scale begins. Because of your momentum, you're able to attract higher caliber candidates, and you're able to take your company to new heights. All because you stopped tinkering and embraced Founder-led GTM. Thank you for sharing, TK. I resonate with the Founder-led Denial phase. As a founder, it's easy to fall into the trap of believing that you can do it all yourself. However, I've realized that embracing Founder-led GTM can help build momentum and clarity.

I would argue that founder-led operations should stay as so for most of the duration of the business, far beyond GTM, would you agree? People buy from people.
