Want to get the takeaway on the new 2024 Building H Index without reading the 16 page summary? My friend Daniel Kraft, MD ran it through Google's NotebookLM to generate a 12-minute podcast that is succinct, compelling, and accurate. It's almost scary how good this is. https://lnkd.in/g3N-jfc9

My novel "Perceptions of the Les Demoiselles" was published some time ago. Now I fed it to NotebookLLM for generating a podcast on it. This is not a spoiler if someone might consider even reading it, but it's quite a 13-min piece. It can be improved, naturally, but this is simply amazing what this can do. And what it will be able to accomplish. If you are interested to listen: https://lnkd.in/dUx2GQvq

Make reading articles fun and more efficient with Google's new tool. You can upload your articles in PDF format to NotebookLM, and it will automatically generate a podcast for you. After listening to this podcast which is conversation-based between 2 people, you can read the article in a much more efficient way. Investing in founders reimagining global habits with new tech infrastructure. 30+yrs. in Silicon Valley as Engineer -> Product Mgr. -> Entrepreneur -> VC.
Ever since we launched SHAKTI, every quarter we write a letter to our LPs = Each letter includes an update on the portfolios, the GP's (our) view on the zeitgeist, an interview with a portfolio CEO and an interview with a TITAN = So far, we have 16 such letters = it's been on our "to do" list to share these publicly (i am lazy) = then Google comes along to save lazy people like me (thank you NotebookLLM) = here's a 10 min podcast summarizing our journey since Dec/2020 with the 16 LP letters as source = if you wanted to know what we are about, this is a pretty good place to start = https://lnkd.in/db7K2TrT cc SHAKTI

I just tried it, too: text turned into a podcast by Google Notebook LM. Nice, BUT: It took completely, utterly wrong conclusions from the text I gave it. Basically the opposite. I do not think I can use this for digesting text for me, because I can't rely on it drawing the correct conclusions. Here's the "podcast": https://lnkd.in/dFuYQExu Here's the original text: https://lnkd.in/eiGXGbVK

Have you Tried Google NotebookLM? It's a tool that turns your article or website into a podcast! Below is one for Eureka.ai that explains what we do in the style of a person to person podcast chat. Useful to see how much jargon you use and if your message is clear enough. Have a listen and tell me what you think! https://lnkd.in/eGFMvQUD #GooglenotebookLM #EurekaAI #PodcastAI

Incredible new tool from Google: Notebook LM to work with an "AI research assistant" to summarize and ask questions about scientific papers and reports. The buzz-worthy headline use is the ability to generate incredibly amazing podcast-like, conversational summaries. Example below from Warren Kibbe. Part of the tech under the hood of the podcast creation feature of Notebook LM is a step called adding "disfluencies", which adds banter and pauses and filler words to make the output audio summary truly conversational and fun to listen to. So many uses for this tool!
I was just trying out NotebookLM. I took my OligoCalc publication from 2007 https://lnkd.in/emisM_VB - OligoCalc is open source and now gets more than 1 million hits a year thanks to CRISPR use - and the link to the website for it, https://lnkd.in/e5FqY_5u, fed it in, asked it to create a podcast, and it created this: https://lnkd.in/eYwkddCf Amazing!
