Today I decided to refresh my knowledge about BRD (Business Requirements Document). A BRD is a document that outlines the business objectives and requirements for a project. It typically includes information such as the project scope, stakeholders, functional and non-functional requirements, assumptions, constraints, and success criteria. The main purpose of a BRD is to ensure that everyone involved in the project understands the goals and requirements, and to serve as a reference point throughout the project lifecycle. It helps to align the project team and stakeholders, and serves as a blueprint for the development and implementation of the project. One of the key features of a BRD is that it is written in a clear and concise manner, making it easy to understand for all parties involved. It should be detailed enough to provide enough information for the project team to work on, but not so detailed that it becomes overwhelming. Overall, a well-written BRD is essential for the success of any project, as it helps to define the scope, objectives, and requirements, and ensures that everyone is on the same page. #BRD #BusinessRequirementsDocument #ProjectManagement #ProjectPlanning #Stakeholders #ProjectScope #FunctionalRequirements #NonFunctionalRequirements #Assumptions #Constraints #SuccessCriteria

Why is requirements gathering so important? 🤔 1️⃣ Each stakeholder will have their own vision of a final product. The requirements gathering process ensures everyone agrees to consistent and achievable project goals, and agrees about what the development encompasses, before the project begins. 2️⃣ It allows you to build attribute-based scenarios. These can help you understand what quality attributes take priority. For instance, does your product need to perform certain operations no matter the demands placed on it?
